Is our shea butter truly pure? Yes, and its purity is certified by the respected Ecocert organisation.
Is our shea butter a true Ugandan variety? Absolutely 100% Ugandan, from the northern region rich in shea trees that are at least 30 years old.
Does the product benefit local farmers? Indeed, through our partnerships, over 2,000 independent farmers have been trained in Ecocert harvesting, storage, and delivery. The product has recently (mid 2016) earned the Aprroved Fair Trade mark by Ecocert. With Ecocert organic certification, we can officially claim equivalent status as NOP USDA.
